When you send us an enquiry through this website, we collect:

• your name;
• your email address and/or phone number;
• the message you send and the listing or area your enquiry relates to.

Our hosting provider automatically records basic technical data (such as IP address and browser type) to keep the site secure and working. We do not run advertising trackers. Pages that show a location embed a Google Map, which loads when it comes into view — Google may receive your IP address and set cookies as part of serving that map, subject to Google's own privacy policy.

We use your information to:

• respond to your enquiry and provide the commercial-property brokerage service you asked for;
• match you to suitable available properties and arrange viewings;
• meet our legal, tax and regulatory obligations as a property practitioner.

We process this information because it is necessary to respond to and carry out the service you requested, and on the basis of the consent you give when submitting the enquiry form. We do not use your details for marketing without separate, specific consent.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only where necessary, with:

• the Ace High Property broker handling your enquiry;
• trusted service providers (“operators”) who help us run the business — our website host, email delivery, and mapping — who may only process your data on our instructions;
• authorities or professional advisors where the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim.

Uploaded property images are stored in South Africa (Cape Town). Other information (such as enquiry details) may be processed by our service providers outside South Africa. Where that happens, we rely on the grounds permitted by section 72 of POPIA — our providers are bound by agreements that require an adequate, substantially similar level of protection; the processing is necessary to provide the service you asked us for; and you consent to it when you submit an enquiry.

We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet our legal obligations. Our standard retention period is 5 years, after which your information is deleted or anonymised, unless a longer period is required by law (for example tax or FICA records).

The site is served over encrypted connections (HTTPS), access to enquiry data is restricted to authorised Ace High Property staff, and photos uploaded to the site have their location and camera metadata stripped automatically. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to safeguard your information.

Under POPIA you have the right to:

• ask what personal information we hold about you, and get a copy;
• ask us to correct or delete information that is wrong, outdated or no longer needed;
• object to how we use your information, and withdraw any consent you gave;
• complain to the Information Regulator.

If you believe we have mishandled your information, you may lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa). We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed; material changes will be reflected on this page.
